Death threat left on Mbappe's mural in Bondy

Kylian Mbappe’s future remains a major talking point in Paris and football fans are debating where he’ll play next season, as he either looks to move to Real Madrid or stay with Paris Saint-Germain.

However, one person has crossed a line by leaving a death threat on the mural of the player in Bondy, the suburb of Paris where he grew up.

“Mbappe, you’re dead,” was the message written on the artwork, according to Le Parisien.

The mural was put up in partnership with Nike when Mbappe turned 21, but it has now been partially defaced by this vile comment. Other insults had previously been seen on the mural, aimed, for example, at local politicians.

This reminds me of the time Asamoah Gyan missed that crucial penalty. People went to his mother’s home to attack her . Insults and vile attacks on Gyan family. I think most people still don’t understand what the game of football is. You win , lose, or draw.

Betting has also contributed to these attacks. People put their last coin on a team to win and once a player makes mistake, they are the cause of the financial loses .
